ACTIVITIES FOR CHILDREN

SUNDAY MORNING SUNDAY SCHOOL CLASSES EMPHASIZE THE CONCEPT OF FAITH FORMATION, AN ON-GOING PROCESS OF DEVELOPING ONE'S SPIRITUAL AND PERSONAL LIFE

We use the Joyful Path curriculum (Inner Wisdom Series) produced by Progressive Christianity.  Each unit of study is created on a foundational affirmation, such as "The life of Jesus helps me understand that I am one with all."

Weekly programming is provided:

  • Nursery care for infants and toddlers

  • Children in elementary grades

  • Jr. and Sr. high school age

Boards and Committees

Church of the Foothills is a congregational church, which means all leadership is participatory and all decisions are collective.  The following boards have been established to coordinate church life and operational requirements:

  • Facilities - plant and property

  • Stewardship & Finance - fiscal matters

  • Deacons - support for worship services

  • Faith Formation - programs for children & adults

  • Outreach & Benevolence - support for local and global initiatives

  • Fellowship - weekly social hour and special events

  • Endowment - manage fund and annual disbursements

2022 Outreach & Benevolence Grants

Each year the church budgets resources to support local and global organizations that support people in need.  Grant applications are now being accepted for 2022 and are due by November 29, 2021.
